Responsibilities :-
- Answers customer questions and resolves technical support problems related to network, software, hardware, and OS level issues via phone and email
- Updates security patches, installs and configures software on IIS server
- Works on special projects for supporting new software and products
- May be asked to perform on-call duties when required
- At least 1-2 years+ experience working with Windows Server platforms
- Good network knowledge with an excellent understanding of Windows web hosting environment including IIS, SMTP, POP, IMAP, DNS, LDAP and TCP/IP.
- Web hosting software installation and configuration experience
- Experience with Active Directory, ASP and ASP.net, PHP, JSP, MS-SQLServer, MySQL, DLLs, security issues and access control
- Excellent problem solving skills and knowledge of PC hardware troubleshooting issues
- Thorough knowledge of the processes and procedures used for all aspects of the supporting role
- Excellent interpersonal skills to handle unhappy and irate customers with good written and verbal communication skills
- Program and project management skills; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; Problem solving ability; “Can do” attitude; understanding of entrepreneurial organizations; ability to manage multiple priorities and must be a team player
- Must be flexible and be able to work AM and PM shifts on rotation and on weekends.
