NPI Engineer

Engineer to Support new products introduction (NPI)

Seeking an experienced engineer which has proven experience in the EMS (Electronic manufacturing service) environment. Must have hands-on experience with all electronic manufacturing processes including SMT, IMT (Through Hole Insertion) and box-build. With a proven record of understanding and exceeding customer's expectations. Requires a hands-on person that's analytical and solution orientated..

Responsibilities :-

• Efficiently manage all aspects for new or quick-turn products including all deliverable items to the customers.


• Perform or manage all engineering activities or functions ensuring both schedule and budgets are maintained.


• Verify that all the necessary data has been received to efficiently produce the product and provide produceability report or cost savings solutions.


• Ability to review design from customer and share feedback to customer both from document design concept and actual sample of product


• Analyze the material bill of materials (BOM) and process requirements; providing solutions that eliminate risks or impacts schedules.


• Experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT(Design for Test)


• Experience in PCB Gerber and stencil concept


• Ensure all yields targets are achieved before products are transitioned to production.


• Provide real-time floor support during the manufacturing process, quickly resolving all engineering related issues.


• Work closely with customers, design engineers and all internal cross functional departments.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering.


• Minimum of a 5 years experience in an electronic manufacturing environment.


• Good English communication both writing and speaking.


• SAP user
